What does the Phantom Blade Zero map include?
PBZ Field Atlas currently costs $0 to use. The preview has one region, Crimson Forest, and sixteen guide-referenced locations. There is no subscription, checkout, credit balance or trial that converts into a paid plan. You can open the map and use its available features without providing payment information.
The scope is intentionally stated in terms of the current collection. Free access does not mean that the complete game has already been mapped. The terrain drawing and marker positions are schematic. Names and short notes are linked to published guides, while precise coordinates and independent in-game verification remain outside this preview.
What the free version includes
Every included location is available through the map or location list. Categories cover bells, Memory Flowers, weapons, treasures, key items and Tales. Search, progress filters, the story-location switch, marker detail cards and source links are all available without an upgrade. No marker is locked behind a payment prompt.
Your checklist can record each of the sixteen included entries. Marking a point complete, undoing that action, viewing remaining locations and resetting the checklist are included. There is no daily discovery quota or charge for reopening the atlas. A story-sensitive point is hidden for spoiler control, not because it belongs to a paid tier.
JSON export and import are also included. The exported file is your portable checklist record. You can merge a valid backup into another browser’s checklist without purchasing cloud storage. There are no watermarks added to progress backups. This release does not offer map-image exports or printable map downloads.
No account and no cloud synchronization
The current atlas does not ask you to register. Found points stay in the local storage of the browser you are using. That keeps the workflow simple, but it also means we cannot recover a lost checklist from an account or send a forgotten-password email. Export is the available backup method.
A phone and a desktop computer keep separate progress unless you move a backup between them. The same is true for different browsers, private sessions and different site addresses. Import merges found markers; it does not synchronize future actions automatically. Keep an updated export if you regularly change devices.
Browser storage can be restricted or cleared by the browser, device settings or private browsing behavior. If saving fails, the interface reports it and encourages an export. The free-access description is not a promise of indefinite local retention, and your checklist should not be treated as a game-save backup.
Features outside the current scope
The preview is not a full-game walkthrough, a measured navigation system or an official companion. It does not read Steam or PlayStation achievements, inspect save files, generate an optimal walking route or verify whether your character has unlocked an item. Those features are not being advertised as hidden paid options.
The regional artwork is an original diagram for organizing the sample. It should not be used to estimate distances, elevations or safe routes. Source guides remain important when you need detailed access instructions. A link to a guide opens an external website, whose own advertising, cookies and access conditions are separate from this atlas.
There is no public community submission feed, account profile or upload service in this version. The contact page can prepare a local correction report. It does not silently upload your message or publish it to other visitors. If an operator email is configured, the page explains the available contact route.
Advertising and future changes
No advertising or third-party analytics code is installed in the current preview. If the site later enables advertising, the privacy information and consent controls must be updated to match that deployment. The current free-access page does not promise future ad placement, approval or revenue.
Any material change to the feature scope or access conditions should be explained before a visitor is asked to accept a charge. There is no payment to cancel and no subscription renewal in this release. For technical instructions, use Help. For map limitations, consult Sources. The visible update date reflects this version of the access description.
The practical way to evaluate the atlas is to try a short session: find a reference entry, read the source, mark a discovery, export a backup and restore it. That complete workflow is available at no cost, with the same tools on desktop and mobile.
